Havarà is a farm on the east coast of Iceland, recently it was bought by a young couple from ReykjavÃk that wanted to move out to the countryside. They bought this farm and have been building it up slowly, they already have a restaurant, cafe, farm, and a hostel. They grow all kinds of vegetables and for example make vegetarian hot dogs out of it, which they sell in the restaurant called Bulsur. They also sell other homemade products. One of the owners is a musician and he often plays in the restaurant for the people, he is a part of the band Prins Póló. Havarà is not open all year around.…

Stöðvarfjörður is a very small town, around 200 people live there. A few years ago it always felt like driving through a ghost when driving there. The little house on the mountain pass called Fagridalur between Reyðarfjörður and Egilsstaðir, you will find this little small orange house, which offers a nice stop for a photo. The batman chair is a pouplar location to get a picture of your self in a big red giant chair with the Batman mountain behind. The farmer in the farm close by was always seeing people stopping next to the road there so he decided to make something more for people to stop for and voila red giant chair we now call the batman chair, that he made. He takes the batman chair down for winter time so it doesn't get damaged by the winter weather, but definitely a place to stop for the view with or without the chair.…
Fossárdalur valley takes its name from the many waterfalls that run down the valley, the name means waterfall river valley. There is a beautiful waterfall just at the entrance of the valley, the name of that one is Nykurhylsfoss. Nykur in Icelandic is a name for a myth, it looks a lot like horse and lives in water, rivers and even at sea, if you take a seat on a Nykur he will run with you in the river and drown you. With a normal car, you can drive a little bit into the valley seeing some beautiful waterfalls and to the campsite at least in the summertime.
