Road F985 will take you up to Jöklasel, this road is only accessible for bigger 4×4 cars. This road will take you up to the Vatnajökull ice cap. There you can go for a jeep tour and snowmobiling with a few different companies, only available in summer. It’s a pretty steep road in some part and around the end, you’ll drive along Skálafellsjökull glacier a pretty big outlet glacier of Vatnajökull ice cap.
