Probably one of the very few places in this area where you can find hot water and natural hot tubs. These hot tubes were made by the farmer in the area. They clean the tub every night and they are open from 9 am – 11 pm. Great place to relax after a long day of exploring. There is no one there normally to charge you. It cost 500kr to get in and you should pay in a small box on the side of the tubs. Everyone should pay so the farmer can keep it going and can maintain the place if needed. If you drive further into the valley you will visit another beautiful glacier tongue called Hoffelsjökul. Note that sometimes there is a small river making it hard for the smaller vehicle to get there.
